black tears
circling in a maze of dead-ends
leaving misty traces of darkness behind
red tears
kissing a path of bloody-minded obstacles
dripping along with hesitant heartbeats
white tears
brightning sight and spirit, tentatively
breaking dainty beams of light into thousands of colors
